A message from our founder

Maria Hinnendael
Founder & Lead Performer

Hi there! My name is Maria Hinnendael, and I am the owner of The Princess Co. I have an extensive performing experience that led me to character performing years ago, and since then, I’ve fallen in love with the event-planning industry! I’ve received a BA in Vocal Performance and Communication and an MM in Choral Conducting. As a soloist, I’ve sung with the Green Bay Civic Symphony, UW Madison Choirs, and St. Norbert College Choirs. As a performer, I’ve worked with professional dinner theater and musical theater troupes and produced my own variety shows. I have a folk duo with my husband, Jeff, called Indian Summer that keeps us busy (not only in the summer months!) As an educator, I teach private voice lessons through my studio, Hinnendael Studios, and have worked with other educational institutions such as The Kroc Center and Studio 12. The Princess Co is entering its eighth year of business, as we proudly bring high-quality party entertainment to the Green Bay and Fox Valley Areas.

Our Story

When starting this company in 2015, I was hoping it would provide some supplemental income while utilizing my singing and acting skills as a music major in undergrad. Following in the footsteps of my father, I fell in love with being a business owner and dove headfirst into entrepreneurship. The Princess Co. would soon add many more characters, actors, and would include surrounding geographical areas. Now, I have the privilege of being able to provide local actors with a well-paying job that’s fun, rewarding, and allows them to pursue their acting careers. At TPC, We started with only princess characters and grew to add superheroes, mascots, popular TV/movie characters, holiday and haunt characters, and various themed parties. I tell our actors that they have the best job in the world, because there is nothing as rewarding as seeing young children mesmerized by the power of imagination and creativity, and a little magic.
